Who we are

Lions Hockey Club ("we", "the club") operates this website to manage memberships, fixtures, news and our online shop.

What we collect

  • Account details you provide: name, email and a securely hashed password.
  • Player profile details: date of birth, phone, emergency contact, position, experience and any medical notes you choose to share.
  • Order information when you buy from the shop.
  • Messages you send via the contact form.
  • Essential cookies needed to keep you signed in and to protect forms (CSRF).

How we use it

We use your information to run the club: to process registrations, place you in a team, communicate fixtures and news, fulfil shop orders, and respond to enquiries. We do not sell your data.

Email

We send transactional emails (welcome, registration decisions, password resets, order and contact confirmations) to the address on your account.

Cookies

This site uses only strictly necessary cookies — a session cookie to keep you logged in and a CSRF token to secure forms. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Data security

Passwords are hashed, forms are CSRF-protected, sensitive actions are rate-limited, and uploaded images are sanitised. Access to member data is restricted to club administrators.

Your rights

You can view and edit your profile at any time, and request that we correct or delete your data by contacting the club.
